Meagan Ferguson is a Costume Designer, emerging screenwriter, and multidisciplinary creative whose work is deeply rooted in family, identity, visual storytelling, and emotional world-building. Raised by strong Cherokee women and artists, she learned to sew and create alongside her grandmothers, whose creativity and resilience continue to shape the emotional core of her work. Meagan has spent the last 18 years honing her craft from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City to the Creative Costuming Department at Walt Disney World. Her work includes, Krisitin Chenoweth’s Live PBS special, Taylor Sheridan’s 1883, Reservation Dogs Season 2, Harlan Coben’s Shelter, and Project Runway, where she competed as a designer. Her years in costume design and character development have given her a deeply cinematic understanding of atmosphere, transformation, and visually driven storytelling.Meagan’s writing explores themes of generational trauma, queerness, spirituality, chosen family, and artistic reinvention through layered narratives centered on marginalized voices. She is currently developing several projects based as she continues expanding her voice as a writer, creator and future showrunner
