John Timothy (Muscogee/Creek) is a LA-based writer and comedian. He most recently wrote for several seasons of Ghosts on CBS, and previously wrote for Leverage: Redemption on Amazon. In short, if you have a project about funny ghosts who do heists, give him a call. He was a participant in the 2019 Native American Media Alliance (NAMA) TV Writers Lab and the 2020 NAMA Showrunners Program. When not writing, he can be seen performing at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, where he has been a performer/teacher since 2009, or huddled around a far too complex to be fun board game. Previously, John co-wrote and co-produced THE THIRD PARTY, a hybrid documentary/ mockumentary feature about third-party presidential candidates in the 2016 election. While few people were interested in watching a movie about the dignity and humor of third party presidential candidates upon its release on election day 2016, he insists it still holds up.
